It can be tough to practice in your home or apartment - it’s too loud, it’s the wrong time of day. You don’t want to disturb your family or neighbors, you worry about noise complaints, you might even have to rent practice space.
Practice mutes might be ok for a little while, but you can’t hear yourself, and the back pressure & bad intonation make it impractical or damaging to use long-term.
SoundCatcher™ fixes all of that.
With a built-in microphone and mini sound board / sound card, you can hear yourself at the perfect volume, play along with any BlueTooth, USB, or analog sound source, and even connect the sound board to your computer, phone, or tablet and record.
Practice mutes don’t work - they add resistance, affect pitch, and you can’t hear yourself. And practicing on an open horn isn’t always an option.
SoundCatcher™ fixes all of that. Our sound-absorbing chamber reduces the volume of your instrument to just 15% of the original volume, and with our included microphone and mixer, you can attach your headphones and hear yourself at full volume.
In tests with a decibel meter, SoundCatcher™ reduced the volume of the trumpet to just 15% of the original volume - 115dB down to 85dB.
Our perception of decibels means that the loudness doubles with every 10dB increase. To illustrate, this means that 85dB is twice as loud as 75dB. 95dB is four times as loud as 75dB. 105dB is eight times as loud as 75 dB!

Onboard reverb adds depth to the sound, and additional inputs mean that you can play along with any wired or bluetooth sound source!
